Southside Snow Day

Dust off those leg warmers, tease up that hair, and don't forget those flashy ski suits! We're bringing the fun of the '80s back with a ski lodge atmosphere, complete with 80's ski movies, retro music and of course, wine & food!

The Southside Wine District in partnership with Walla Walla Valley Wine is coming together for a fun-filled day of winter & wine festivities.

Featured Activities

Snowshoe Shuffle

Start the day off at 11:00 am with the Snowshoe Shuffle, a hike around the vineyards of Dusted Valley. All skill levels are welcome, bring your gear! Limited rentals are available. For the creative at heart, Build a Snowperson, Animal, or Fort!

Sip Soireé

After a walk through the vineyards, join us inside for some 80's themed fun. Partake in the Sip Soirée from 12-3 pm where southside wineries will pour samples of current releases many of which will be available for bottle purchase.

Bites & Bonfire

And there's nothing better to warm you up on a winter day than a Soup and Sandwiches. Salted Mill will be providing scratch-made soup and sandwiches for you to indulge in while sipping on your wine. The Bonfire Pit is the perfect place to make S’mores and savor a custom cocoa from the Hot Cocoa Bar!

This is a 21+ event with a portion of the proceeds going to Jasper Mountain Reserve.

Après-Ski After Party (bonus event with ticket purchase)

Join Downtown Tasting Room, Mercer Estates, from 3pm - 6pm. Keep the party going with a live DJ, 80’s music, and a costume contest. Wine, local beer, non-alcoholic options, and food available for purchase.
